Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using Prep-Less, you agree to these terms. Prep-Less is operated by an individual founder. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Questions? Email support@prep-less.com.

What Prep-Less is

Prep-Less is a teaching companion for independent ESL tutors. It diagnoses each student, keeps a living course plan, and generates lessons, worksheets, feedback, and exam prep using AI. It's a tool to support your teaching — you stay the teacher, and you decide what to actually use with your students.

Your account

You sign in with your email using a one-time code. You're responsible for keeping access to that email secure and for the activity under your account. One account is for one tutor; school plans cover a defined number of teacher seats.

The 7-day trial and billing

You can start free, or try a paid plan free for 7 days. Paid trials ask for a card up front. Our guarantee is simple: cancel before day 7 and you are never charged. Cancel from your settings any time during the trial.

If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your plan begins and your card is charged for the plan you chose, then renews each month or year until you cancel. When you cancel a paid plan, it stays active until the end of the period you already paid for — we don't charge you again after that. We don't offer refunds for time already elapsed; the day-7 cancellation window is the protection.

Generation limits

Each plan includes a set number of AI generations per month — that monthly cap is what separates the tiers. The Free tier includes a limited number of generations each month. Your students are never limited: sharing lessons, homework, and student pages does not count against your cap.

Using it responsibly

When you use Prep-Less, you agree that you will:

• Only enter student information you have the right to use, and not upload anyone else's confidential or sensitive data without permission.
• Not use the service for anything illegal, abusive, or harmful, and not try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it.
• Not resell or redistribute the generated content as your own product, or use the service to build a competing product.

Student information and consent

You enter information about the students you teach. You confirm that you have the right to do so, and — if a student is a minor — that you have the appropriate consent from a parent or guardian before entering their details or sharing a lesson page with them. You are responsible for the student data you add and for how you share it.

AI-generated content

Lessons, feedback, worksheets, and plans are generated by AI. They can contain mistakes, and they are a starting point, not a finished product. You should review anything before using it with a student or relying on it. Prep-Less is not a substitute for your professional judgment, and generated content is not professional, legal, or academic advice.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Prep-Less running well, but it's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may occasionally have downtime for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Prep-Less and its founder are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue arose.

Ending your use

You can stop using Prep-Less and delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is based, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there.

Changes to these terms

If we make a meaningful change, we'll update this page and the date below. Continuing to use Prep-Less after a change means you accept the updated terms.
